Welcome back for the 2022-2023 hockey season!
The Stratford Hockey Club is looking forward to the 2022-2023 season of Stratford Warrior hockey in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL). After 2 years of ups and downs due to COVID-19, we have finally turned the corner and welcome a full season of exciting hockey.
We are very proud of our hockey club and its long-standing tradition in the community and with our loyal fans. We have a lot of history in the William Allman Memorial Arena and are looking forward to having a successful Stratford Warrior team for the 2022-2023 season.
This season we welcome back Director of Hockey Operations, Jason Clarke, General Manager, Nick Parr, and Assistant General Manager, Mark Nelson as they build another strong Stratford Warrior team to bring home a championship cup.
We welcome back our returning coaching staff: Dave Williams, Mike McLeod, Dave Schlitt, Mark Nelson and Mike Graham and would like to introduce and welcome former Stratford Culliton, Drew Gross, who joins our staff as an Assistant Coach.
This season we have several star players returning and some new young talent — it should be an exciting season. The returning players are looking forward to the task ahead and will share their experiences with the new players. Our team will continue to be involved in local community events and lead by example.
The Stratford Warriors appreciate the continued support of their passionate fans. We want fans to be part of our journey towards another championship — welcome back and we hope you enjoy the 2022-2023 season!
We also look forward to continuing to develop our players for their next steps in life, both in hockey and in their careers of choice.
Financially it takes a lot to run the Stratford Hockey Club. On behalf of the Board of Directors I would like to thank our fans who attend games and our annual supporters and sponsors and local businesses who are truly invested in our success. You are the financial energy that drives our team and without your support our season would not be possible.
