DEVIN DIDIOMETE: Once a Culliton

This week we feature Devin Didiomete on our “Once a Warrior/Once a Culliton” segment.  DiDiomete played in numerous leagues over the course of his career in Canada, the United States and Europe.  He played for the Stratford Cullitons for the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons.

DEVIN DIDIOMETE, Stratford Cullitons #17

2002-2003, 2003-2004

As a local youngster long before dreams of playing in the NHL, I dreamt of one day putting on the Red, White and Blue Cullitons jersey. Running out the doors, skating on to the ice and stepping into one of hockey’s most historic arenas to hear a passionate crowd cheering on their city’s team.

Winning two Sutherland Cup championships was the highlight of my time with the Club. This first-class organization not only helped me achieve goals to move on to further my playing career, but helped me mature me as a person. The Cullitons/Warriors have such a rich hockey history and being from town made it that much more special winning.
