Leading us with letters this year includes:
Cole Lewis, Haden Frayne, Zak Bell, Rhyse Brown, and Jacob Wiseman!
After celebrating our successful season at our Year End Banquet this past weekend, we begin the recognition of some players who took home some hardware this year!
Starting off with Jacob Wiseman who took home the James Elder Memorial Award and the Mike Lebreux Memorial Award!
The James Elder is selected by the training staff and presented to someone who exemplifies high levels of leadership both on and off the ice.
The Mike Lebreux Memorial Award is selected by the best fans in the world and is presented to the Fan Favourite Player of the Year!
A huge congratulations to Jacob on taking home these awards this year!
Finally, a big thank you to 519 Sports Online for covering our Year End Banquet!
Starting off with Camden Daigle who took home the Herb G. Parker Award. This award is chosen by Players, Team Staff, Game Staff and Directors, and is handed out to an outstanding Stratford Minor Hockey Association graduate who made a difference on and off the ice.
Cole Lewis took home the Cherrey Buslines Award, awarded to the Best Defensive Forward and selected by Players, Team Staff, Game Staff and Directors.
Finally, the Jack Dent Memorial Award which is awarded to the most Outstanding Defenceman was taken home by Casey Bridgwater. This award is selected by Players, Team Staff, Game Staff and Directors!
Our third round of season accolades has a very heavy focus on one player, in particular, Carson Harmer.
Carson joined the Warriors this year where he made an immediate impact with the organization, winning two GOJHL Rookie of the Month Awards as well as the top Rookie Scorer in the GOJHL.
Carson took home four awards at this year’s banquet, where his father accepted them on his behalf, as Carson was in Saginaw capturing a Memorial Cup Championship in the CHL as a member of the Saginaw Spirit.
The first award Carson took home was the Erik Anderson Award, which is awarded to the player with the most Regular Season Points, where he finished with a total of 67 Points!
The Pavestone Plus Award is awarded to the player with the best overall plus/minus throughout the regular season, where he finished with a +24 differential!
The third award Carson received was the Jack Wright Memorial Award, which is awarded to the most valuable player of the regular season, voted upon by Players, Team Staff, Game Staff, and Directors. Carson was also awarded with a watch donated by the amazing sponsors of Swanson Jewellers!
The fourth and final award Carson took home this season was the Ron Schulthies Memorial Award, voted upon by Players, Team Staff, Game Staff, and Directors, and is presented to the Rookie of the Year!
We would like to congratulate Carson on the successful season he had and congrats on the hardware!
Starting off with the Don MacArthur Trophy, which is awarded to the Most Valuable Player(s) in the post-season, and is chosen by the Coaching Staff. Brayden Stumpf, Camden Daigle, and Cole Lewis split the honour, as they racked up a total of 66 Combined Points in 15 Playoff Games!
Stay tuned for our player signings for next year’s roster!
