Dennis Williams Coaches Canada to Gold!

Fans, today we would like to recognize Dennis Williams, Head Coach of our Canadian Gold Winning Junior Hockey Team!

Dennis Williams — brother to our very own Stratford Warriors head coach Dave Williams — played for our team, then the Stratford Cullitons, from 1993-1997.  He was a prolific player and in his fourth season alone scored 50 goals, had 72 assists for 122 points and had 196 penalty minutes in a 48 game season.

Dennis went on to play four years in Bowling Green and after a couple of years of playing pro hockey turned to coaching. His coaching career has taken Dennis and his family across North America.  For the past five years he has been the head coach of the Everett Silvertips of the WHL with an incredible winning record.

After being selected as an assistant coach for the 21/22 world juniors , Dennis was chosen to be Head Coach of this years’ Canadian Juniors Team.

Congratulations — and thank you Dennis — for the very important role you played in making such an exciting junior series and bringing the Gold medals home.
